Creating Resilient Communities
“Supporting Each Other Before, During and After a Crisis”
Recent events at Westminster Bridge, Borough Market, Parsons Green, Grenfell Tower, and Las Vegas demonstrate that a tragic incident can happen at any time and anywhere. Such incidents can adversely affect our lives and those of people around us. What has changed is the scale, scope and range of threats, which due to our interconnected world can impact an ever-greater number of people and communities.
Incidents which adversely impact our businesses and communities are not restricted to terrorist attacks but include flooding, fire, hacking of personal data and cyberattacks. We need a better approach to preparing, surviving and recovering from a crisis.
